  • Botanical Name: Monstera adansonii
  • Common Name(s): Adanson's monstera, Swiss cheese vine, five holes plant
  • Description: The Swiss Cheese plant, gets its name from its large, heart-shaped leaves, which become covered with holes that resemble swiss cheese as it gets older. Part of the Araceae family that's native to South and Central America, this Monstera is easy to grow and loves to climb and grow upwards.

Kokedama is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. The idea has its origins in Japan, where it is a combination of the nearai bonsai and kusamono planting styles.

(For best results and care of your Kokedama, immerse it in water for 1 or 2 minutes in a tray every 2 or 3 days. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, place it in a ventilated place.)
